Technical specifications
- The products are loaded by a valve on the cover to add the ingredients by means of the vacuum created inside the autoclave. There is a hopper on the cover for loading auxiliary substances, such as essences, colouring solutions, active ingredients, scents, etc.
- The autoclave is emptied by means of the mushroom drain valve on the bottom of the vessel to ensure all the liquid or cream is unloaded. A discharge pump can also be installed.
- The vessel is hermetically sealed and can reach 80mBar at 20°C by means of the vacuum pump. The vacuum process prevents air from getting trapped in the product due to the turbulence inside the autoclave. Furthermore, the vacuum is used to load the liquids and powders into the autoclave through its valves.
- The product temperature is controlled (with PID system) by a probe on the bottom of the vessel, both during the heating phase and the cooling phase.
- The process can be checked through a sight glass equipped with glass-wiper located on the cover in a handy position to observe the process without having to stop and open the autoclave, for sampling and additives. There is also a timed lighting system for better internal inspection.
- In addition to the electrical safety devices that protect the machine functions, all the operator safety devices required by current EC regulations are provided.
Machine structure
VESSEL
• Openable lid.
• Tilting vessel (Optional from 1500 useful capacity).
• Parts in direct contact with product in AISI 316 stainless steel (optional).
TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT
• Vessel with inner jacket filled with water/thermic fluids for heating and cooling, Max. operating pressure in the inner jacket for heating/cooling 0,49 bar.
• Insulation of the vessel by means of jacket.
VACUUM
• Vacuum circuit with visual passage and liquid ring pump.
EQUIPMENT OF THE VESSEL
• Funnel on the lid for auxiliary substances loading.
• Sight-port equipped with glass-wiper and light-port with momentary light on the lid.
• TriClamp connections on the lid. Ball-type valves on the lid. MIXER Slow coaxial mixing system (counter-rotating).
• Mixing blade with optimized profile for the vertical movement of product, including PTFE scrapers.
• Variable speed of the Mixer through inverter.
TURBINE
• Homogenizing turbine - rotor/stator type - at the bottom of the vessel.
• Variable speed of the turbine through inverter.
VESSEL UNLOADING
• Piston valve for the product unloading, placed at the bottom of the vessel.
SUPPORTING STRUCTURE
• AISI 304 stainless steel supporting structure with anti-vibration/self-levelling and adjustable support feet.
OPERATOR PANEL
• TOUCH 12" operator panel with Siemens PLC.
• Digital visualization of the process parameters.
• Function for the continuous recording of process parameters: TRENDS and DATALOGGER (D-SCRIBA).
